As a coach, I’ve heard it from clients many times. As a human being, I’ve experienced it. And now I know there is a name for it. The Imposter Syndrome.
You know – that niggling feeling that you’re not who or what people think you are. Those flashes of insecurity. That crushing doubt that sucks the joy out of an accomplishment. The good news is that we are not the only ones. And the better news is that we can deal with it, indeed embrace it and triumph over it. Remember this. You are not a fraud. You are uniquely gifted and equipped to succeed. Do not succumb to the lies of fear and self-doubt. You are meant for so much more.
